I feel immensely delighted to learn that the U.P. Non-Olympic Association has superbly executed the well-defined objective of promoting both Non-Olympic Sports as well as traditional and ancient games throughout Uttar-Pradesh. In the year 2000 when our Association was lunched many eyebrows were raised as same people felt this to be an unachievable task. However, our team effort and support from all stakeholders have borne fruit in the last two decades sports such Chess, Carrom, Mallkhamb, Body-Building, Rugby, Kho-Kho, Martial Arts, etc. are day by day gaining popularity in the countryside and new talent is emerging to place these games on the national and international canvas. But we have still a long road ahead of us which needs concerted endearess and dedication.

I am happy that at present under the able leadership of the President of the U.P. Chapter Mr. Ajay Deep Singh more and more events will be organized along with training sessions. I will like to emphasize that coordination with government authorities is imperative to transform the dreams of all sportspersons into reality. I wish you all success! Keep it up!
